We barely made it to Vietnam after a fiasco at the airport in Cambodia with Scotty's visa... Never thought I would be running on a tarmac in between planes, but we did!
For some reason we weren't expecting much out of Saigon since it's a big city, but we loved it. It has a funky feeling to it - it's very modern, but also has old colonial buildings. The districts are very different from each other and the food was delicious. There are so many little hidden spots, you have to wonder into alleys and climb up stairs to find what you're looking for. We took a few days to wonder the city, visit the Vietnam war museum and get ready for our big ride through Vietnam. We will be riding on a Honda Blade with our bags strapped to the back for 1,300 miles!
